Floor Braam, violin
 Floor Braam began violin lessons at age 9 with Anneke Visser at the Haren music school. At 14 she was admitted to the preparatory course of the Prins Claus Conservatorium where she studied with Annechien van Blom. She was successful in both the Prinses Christina Competition and the competition of the foundation for Young Musical Talent Netherlands (Stichting Jong Muziektalent Nederland).
For many years Floor played in the Haydn Youth String Orchestra (HJSO), and was concertmaster for the last of these. She toured with HJSO to countries including; Italy, Spain, England and Austria. In 2004 Floor was accepted to the Royal College of Music in London where she studied with Yossi Zivoni. She has played in orchestras including; the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra and the RCM Sinfonietta under the direction of Sir Roger Norrington.
Floor has taken part in the Summer Academy for Strings in Kapfenburg where she studied with Peter Brunt, and at the Bowdoin International Music Festival under the direction of Lewis Kaplan. In addition to this she has had masterclasses with Felix Andrievsky, Yuri Zhislin and Maciej Rakowski. She is currently haiving private lessons with Ani Schnarch in London. Floor plays on a Kleynman violin from 1680 made available to her by the National Musical instrument fund.
