Zoe Wallace, cello
Zoe Wallace is a cellist currently studying with Jan-Ype Nota and Michel Strauss at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen. Born in Adelaide, Australia, Zoe completed her B. Mus with Honors in Tasmania in 2003 before commencing further studies in The Netherlands in 2004. During her studies with Christian Wojtowicz in Tasmania, Zoe was a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra and the Shiraz String Ensemble. In 2002 she was awarded the Jan Sedivka Scholarship and in 2003 graduated with First Class Honours. In 2004, Zoe participated in the Netherlands Youth Orchestra and in 2006 the Kodaly-Bartok World Youth Orchestra. She is a current member of the Prins Claus Conservatorium Cello Octet and the ‘Alinga Duo’. Zoe's study at the Prins Claus Conservatorium has been supported by the Makarov Foundation.
