Hieke Dam, violin

Hieke began studying the violin with Wiesje Miedema and Jan Repko at age 6. She entered the preparatory department of the Prins Claus Conservatorium aged 11, where she studied with Annechien van Blom and Natasja Morozowa. During her preparatory study, Hieke was a member of the Haydn Jeugd Orkest for 6 years, of which she was concertmaster for the last 2. She has toured several times with HJO to countries including; Italy, England, Scotland, Spain, Portugal and Austria. Hieke has had masterclasses with amongst others; Coosje Wijzenbeek, Vera Beths en Guillame Tardif. She currently studies with Ilona Sie Dhian Ho at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen.
