Quantum Entanglement
The fresh new union between exceptional classical and jazz talent featuring Camerata Ardesko and THE NEW SOUND EQUAZION.
In physics, 'quantam entanglement' refers to two objects which may be spatially separated but which are linked together in a way that the movement of one has a direct influence on the other.
Like the the two linked particles in physics the Quantum Entanglement project will strive to show how interconnected jazz and classical music are, bringing a greater musical awareness and experience to audiences from both worlds.
The Quantum Entanglement project brings a new role to strings in jazz music, taking them out of the purely accompany role they often are found in and giving them an equal voice. The central body of work for this project will be jazz compositions and arrangements by Romanian jazz saxophonist and composer, Catalin Milea.
These works cover a variety of styles with some drawing their inspiration from classsical compositions. In addition the program will be complimented by some short classical works for strings and short works for jazz quartet.
